Cast Mold

Cast mold or cast iron ingot mould, is a container into which molten ferroalloy is poured and solidified into ingots. There are many new technologies appeared in past few years on ferroalloys casting. Cast mold will be replaced by casting machine step by step in the future.

It is a kind of widely used casting method for ferroalloys. At present, fixed mold is more popular. However, mobile mold became interested to ferroalloy producers, since those new mold are easy operating and save costs.
